PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA DESA TERHADAP PENERAPAN E-GOVERNMENT DI DESA KERTAYASA KECAMATAN SINDANGAGUNG KABUPATEN KUNINGAN

Abstract

This study discusses "The Influence of Village Head Leadership on the Implementation of E-Government in Kertayasa Village, Sindangagung District, Kuningan Regency". The background of the research is based on the low utilization of the Kertayasa Community Information System (SIMAK) even though the village has allocated human resources, budget, and technological infrastructure. The research aims to find out how the village head is led, how to implement e-government, and how much influence leadership has on the success of e-government in the village. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative data through questionnaires and qualitative data through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The quantitative analysis technique was carried out through simple linear regression analysis. Meanwhile, qualitative analysis is carried out through analysis techniques according to Huberman and Miles, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the leadership of village heads was in the good category with an average score of 72.7%, then the implementation of e-government was also in the good category with a score of 72.1%. A simple regression test yielded an R Square value of 0.578, which means that the leadership of village heads had a significant effect of 57.8% on the implementation of e-government, while 42.2% was influenced by other factors outside the study. This finding confirms that the leadership of the village head has a central role in encouraging the participation of village officials, optimizing technology, and the sustainability of the implementation of e-government in Kertayasa Village.
