DAMPAK KERJA SAMA EKONOMI BRAZIL RUSIA INDIA CHINA AFRIKA SELATAN (BRICS) TERHADAP HUBUNGAN INDIA-CHINA PADA TAHUN 2020-2023
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the impact of economic cooperation within the BRICS framework on bilateral relations between India and China during the period 2020-2023, with a particular focus on the active role of the New Development Bank (NDB) and the BRICS Think Tank Council. Through a qualitative approach, this research examines the dynamics of interaction between the two countries, by examining the contribution of the NDB in funding infrastructure and development projects involving India and China, and the role of the BRICS Think Tank Council in deepening strategic dialog and understanding between the two countries. The results show that despite tensions in some sectors, economic cooperation through BRICS has succeeded in creating space for a more pragmatic and cooperative improvement in relations, especially in the context of joint economic development. Agreements within BRICS, facilitated by the NDB and Think Tank Council, have been instrumental in strengthening the economic aspects of India-China relations, although geopolitical challenges remain.
