Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Author name is not written in the manuscript to ensure Blind Review Policy fulfilled.
  • Maximum size of single Manuscript file is 2.00 Megabyte.

Author Guidelines

JURNAL DINAMIKA GLOBAL WRITING GUIDELINES

Article Writing Guidelines

1. Articles must be original, not plagiarized, and must not have been published in other media or publications.

2. Articles must contain ideas or research findings within the field of International Relations.

3. Manuscripts must be typed in Bookman Old Style, 12-point font, 1.5 spacing, and printed on A4 paper. The manuscript should be 4,000-5,000 words long (including the abstract and bibliography, a 100-150-word summary of the content and scope of the paper, along with findings, accompanied by 4-5 keywords). The document should be created in Microsoft Word in .doc or .rtf format.

4. Attach your full name, a brief profile (job/position/scientific publications/research interest in International Relations), and a contact information (mobile phone number and email address). Please send your mailing address and the written file to the following email address: dinamikaglobal@unjani.ac.id or to the editor,  Tholhah (email address: tholhah@lecture.unjani.ac.id).

5. The names of the authors of the article are listed without academic titles and placed below the article title. If there are four or more authors, the name of the main author is listed first, followed by the remaining authors. For manuscripts written by a team, the editor will only contact the main author or the author named first. Authors are encouraged to include their email addresses.

6. Articles are written in English in essay format, with titles for each section of the article. The introduction is presented without section titles.

7. The format for articles resulting from research or research is as follows: title, author's name (without academic title); Abstract (100-150 words); keywords; introduction; discussion; conclusion; list of references (containing only cited sources).

8. Reference sources should be references published within the last 10 years, to the extent possible. Priority should be given to primary sources in the form of research reports (including theses, dissertations) or research articles in scientific journals and/or magazines.

9. Citations should be made using running notes/text notes/body notes.

10. The list of references or bibliography should be arranged alphabetically by the last name of the primary author.

11. The author is fully responsible for the entire content of the submitted article.

12. The author must cite at least one reference from an article previously published in the Jurnal Dinamika Global.


Book Review Writing Guidelines

1. A Book Review is a review of a book within the scope of International Relations studies. Manuscripts should be typed in Bookman Old Style, 12-point font, 1.5 spacing, printed on A4 paper, with a maximum length of 1,000 words, and created in Microsoft Word in doc or rtf format. Files can also be sent as email attachments to: dinamikaglobal@unjani.ac.id or to the editor, Tholhah (email: tholhah@lecture.unjani.ac.id).

2. The author's name should be listed without academic degrees and placed below the Book Review title. Authors are encouraged to include an email address for ease of communication.

3. Articles should be written in English in essay format, accompanied by the book title, year of publication, author, publisher, and a description of the book.

4. Book Reviews are expected to review or review books published within the last five years.
