PENGARUH CAGAR BUDAYA TERHADAP DEMOKRATISASI DI CIREBON RAYA
Abstract
In the Greater Cirebon area there are three palaces, namely: the Kasepuhan Palace, the Kacirebonan Palace, and the Kanoman Palace. Along with the times, the function of the palace is now a cultural heritage and historical tour. This cultural heritage and historical tourism is an important point in the political process in Indonesia. The ongoing process of democratization in the Greater Cirebon area is one of the important things and concerns Cultural Heritage and Historical Tourism because it influences politics in the Greater Cirebon area. The people's party which is held every five years becomes a very important event in the implementation of democratization because that's when the process of electing leaders for the Greater Cirebon area is determined. Community leaders will participate in the democratic party, which includes the royal/palace family so that they are used as a symbol in Greater Cirebon. Their goal of including these figures is to attract sympathy and support from the people of Greater Cirebon.
