Abstract

This research aims to develop a model of a retirement preparation program for government employees at the Human Resources of the Indonesian National Police that is more effective and able to help employees prepare for their retirement. The hope is that employees who participate in the program will feel happy both physically and mentally. The result of this preparation program will include a draft of training materials, methods, implementation plans, and evaluation activities. The training materials will consist of two main aspects: Retirement Planning and Counseling. The Retirement Planning aspect will cover topics such as financial planning, social security, medication, insurance, and health services, while the Counseling aspect will focus on social psychology. The training methods will include lesson material delivery, group discussions, role-playing, games and simulations, consultations, and visits to businesses. The implementation will take place outside of the office, in collaboration with the Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN), and will include not only government employees at the Human Resources of the Indonesian National Police but also participants from other departments. The evaluation stage will be conducted in collaboration with Baganev Rojianstra Human Resources of the Indonesian National Police, who will assess the program's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement. This research will use qualitative methods to gather data and insights on the needs and experiences of the participants. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the development of a more comprehensive and effective retirement preparation program, particularly for the Indonesian National Police, and to provide a basis for further research in this area.
