DIPLOMASI EKONOMI TIONGKOK KE ARAB SAUDI DALAM SEKTOR ENERGI TAHUN 2019-2023

Abstract
Sebagai negara industry, kebutuhan energi minyak diperlukan untuk melancarkan roda perekonomian. Arab Saudi sebagai target pasar impor minyak bumi bagi Tiongkok. Pada tahun 1999 kedua negara memutuskan melakukan kerja sama di sektor energi minyak untuk mempermudah produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi minyak. Pandemi Covid-19 yang berdampak pada sektor vital sehingga Tiongkok melakukan diplomasi ekonomi ke Arab Saudi demi menjaga pasokan cadangan energi.Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis strategi diplomasi ekonomi Tiongkok ke Arab Saudi di sektor energi tahun 2019-2023. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan liberalism dengan teori diplomasi, diplomasi ekonomi, konsep kepentingan nasional, dan konsep keamanan energi. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan data sekunder diambil dari studi kepustakaan melalui jurnal, buku, artikel, berita, dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Tiongkok menggunakan strategi diplomasi ekonomi di sektor energi melalui forum diskusi sebagai pertemuan kenegaraan melalui China Arab State Cooperation Forum, kerja sama dan investasi di industri perminyakan, kemitraan strategis komperhensif, dan Belt and Road Initiative.
