<p><em>T</em><em>hi</em><em>s article examines the effect of supervision by the Environmental Agency on community participation in community-based waste management in West Bandung Regency. The study is grounded in the problem that waste management has not been fully optimal, as indicated by the limited coverage of waste handling, the uneven development&nbsp; &nbsp;of&nbsp; &nbsp;active&nbsp; &nbsp;waste&nbsp; &nbsp;banks,&nbsp; &nbsp;and&nbsp; &nbsp;the&nbsp; &nbsp;moderate&nbsp; &nbsp;level&nbsp;&nbsp; of&nbsp; &nbsp;community involvement &nbsp;in &nbsp;waste &nbsp;management &nbsp;programs. &nbsp;This &nbsp;study &nbsp;uses&nbsp; an &nbsp;explanatory research design with a quantitative approach and a survey method. The research involved 98 respondents selected from 4,380 households participating in community- based waste management programs under the supervision of the Environmental Agency. &nbsp;Data &nbsp;were &nbsp;collected&nbsp; through &nbsp;questionnaires &nbsp;using &nbsp;a&nbsp; Likert&nbsp; scale &nbsp;and analyzed through descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, significance testing, and the coefficient of determination. The findings show that supervision by the Environmental &nbsp;Agency &nbsp;is &nbsp;categorized &nbsp;as &nbsp;moderate, &nbsp;with &nbsp;an &nbsp;achievement &nbsp;level &nbsp;of&nbsp;</em><em>65</em><em>.31%. Community participation is also categorized as moderate, with an achievement level of 63.01%. The regression analysis produces the equation Y = 6.044&nbsp;</em><em>+ 0.623X, indicating that improved supervision increases community participation. The &nbsp;hypothesis &nbsp;test&nbsp; shows &nbsp;a &nbsp;positive &nbsp;and &nbsp;significant &nbsp;effect, &nbsp;with &nbsp;t-count &nbsp;12.505 greater than t-table 1.66088 and a significance value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The coefficient&nbsp;</em><em>o</em><em>f determination shows that supervision contributes 62.2% to community participation, while the remaining 37.8% is influenced by other factors. This article concludes that supervision plays a strategic role in strengthening community participation in waste management. Therefore, supervision needs to be improved through accurate data, regular monitoring, corrective follow-up, community education, and stronger support for waste banks and 3R-based environmental programs.</em></p>
