The tittle of the thesis "Effectiveness of the Rehabilitation Program for Homeless and Beggars at the Griya Bina Karya Social Service Center (PPSGBK) Cisarua, West Bandung Regency". The problem of the research is that the large number of homeless people and beggars in the capital city of Bandung creates a feeling of insecurity and comfort. Identifying problems with the effectiveness of local government programs regarding social rehabilitation service programs. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of local government programs regarding the social rehabilitation of the homeless and beggars. Research that uses mechanism theory in increasing effectiveness (Richard M. Steers 1985:9) includes setting strategic goals; Seeking and Utilizing Resources; Creating an Achievement Environment; Process of Communication; Leadership and Decision Making; and Organizational Innovation and Adaptation. Research informants include the Head of the Griya Bina Karya Cisarua Social Service Center, West Bandung Regency, Supervisors (Social Workers), Supervisors (Instructors), Assisted Residents, and Alumni of Assisted Residents. Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include literature study, observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the rehabilitation program at the Griya Bina Karya Cisarua Social Services Center, West Bandung Regency has been effective, this can be seen from careful planning to support rehabilitation activities, quality services, good communication between employees and social assistance. resident. and your innovation, Young Sustainable Champion, is included in the top 25 best innovations in West Java.
