Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Anggadita Village Government in addressing stunting in Klari District, Karawang Regency. Stunting remains a public health issue that impacts the quality of human resources and can lead to cognitive impairments and reduced future productivity. Although the Karawang Regency Government has implemented various programs to accelerate stunting reduction, Anggadita Village in Klari District remains an area with a relatively high number of stunting cases. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Analysis is conducted based on Geoff Mulgan’s government strategy theory, encompassing objectives, environment, direction, action, and learning. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, comprising village government officials and pregnant women. The findings indicate that the success of stunting alleviation efforts is influenced by village government commitment, collaboration with community health centers (Puskesmas), integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, and Family Assistance Teams, as well as community participation. Obstacles identified include low awareness among some community members, limited nutrition education, and suboptimal synergy among stakeholders. The study recommends strengthening collaboration, enhancing public outreach, and conducting continuous evaluation of stunting programs.
