POLA HUBUNGAN PATRONASE DALAM BIROKRASI PEMERINTAHAN DAERAH KOTA BANDUNG
Abstract
This research is titled "Patronage Relationship Pattern in Local Government Bureaucracy of Bandung City." The purposes of this study are: 1) to know the existence of pattern of patronage relationship in local government bureaucracy of Bandung City; 2) knowing the background of patronage relationship pattern; and 3) to know the impact of the existence of patronage relationship pattern to the performance of local government.
This research was designed using a 'qualitative’ approach. The results are: 1) There is a pattern of patronage relationship in the local government bureaucracy of Bandung City between the major and certain officials; 2) The background of the pattern of patronage relationship in the local government bureaucracy of Bandung City are political factor (direct major election), sameness of education almamater faktor, and the employee performance factor; 3) The existence of pattern of patronage relationship in Bandung City local government bureaucracy does not negatively impact to performance achievement of local government."
Moving from the conclusion of the research results, the researcher proposes a concept formulated: "Patronage relationship pattern in local government bureaucracy does not negatively impact the performance achievement of local government, if the head of region can manage it carefully and normative."
