KAPASITAS PEMERINTAH DESA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA DI DESA CIMANGGU KECAMATAN NGAMPRAH KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the capacity of the village government in developing tourist villages in Cimanggu Village, Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. Cimanggu Village has tourism potential, one of which is a hot spring. However, this tourism potential has not been developed optimally. The Village Government has not been able to develop its tourist village. Not many people know about the tourist attractions in Cimanggu Village. Data collection in this research was carried out using interviews, documentation, and observation. The research was conducted for approximately 5 months. The results of this research indicate that the capacity of the Cimanggu Village Government to develop tourist villages has not been optimal. This can be seen from the joint commitment between the Village Government and the community through the formation of Pokdarwis; The leadership of the Cimanggu Village Head is good; There is no regulatory reform in the Cimanggu Village Government relating to tourist villages; Institutional Reform, namely the formation of Pokdarwis; The strength is the involvement of the Cimanggu Village community in developing tourist attractions, while the weakness requires joint seriousness between Pokdarwis, the Cimanggu Village Government and the West Bandung Regency Government to develop the tourism potential in Cimanggu Village, especially in terms of promotion and funding.
