RENDAHNYA KESADARAN BERDEMOKRASI MASYARAKAT PONOROGO DAN LEMAHNYA KEBIJAKAN PUBLIK (STUDI KASUS: TEMUAN “MONEY POLITIC” OLEH BAWASLU PONOROGO PADA PEMILU 2019)

Abstract

Democracy is a flexible system for the people of Indonesia, where this system has provided space for freedom to narrate, express, participate, and contribute to building this nation. In many ways, the community can directly show their existence without having to accept coercion from anyone. Including in the election contestation, where the people should show their integrity through good awareness in democracy. The emergence of money politics today is evidence of acute injuries that have plagued Indonesian democracy, including in Ponorogo. The fact is that there are still many Ponorogo people who have not been able to interpret democracy as a whole, and are easily tempted by political desires by unscrupulous people. This was proven through the findings of the Election Supervisory Body of Ponorogo in the 2019 General Election yesterday, succeeded in conducting OTT on the community members in Kec. Jambon who wants to distribute hot money. Therefore this study aims to measure how the quality and index of the Ponorogo community to be democratic in the circle of "Money Politics" and the still weak Political Policy in the Election. By using documentation studies, valid data from credible media reports are collected into an uncontested equivalent of facts.
