Abstract
Malaysia is one of the biggest countries in Southeast Asia with migrant workers, one of whom is from Bangladesh. This issue made both countries move to take care of migrant worker mobility to be more controlled by doing G2G cooperation. Even though the cooperation’s MoU has been ratified, the implementation from the cooperation has not shown progress.
It is known that there are some factors that inhibit the implementation of the cooperation, one of which is the involvement of Bestinet Sdn Bhd, which has a main role in the recruitment sector for migrant workers. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors that inhibit G2G Bangladesh and Malaysia’s cooperation program in 2021. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical type, and data has been collected through literature study and interview.
The result from this research showed that the G2G cooperation between Bangladesh and Malaysia inhibited by many factors; some of them are the governments are not in harmony with NGO (non-Governmental Organization), Corruption, also the goverment’s failure.
