PENGARUH DONALD TRUMP TERHADAP HUBUNGAN AMERIKA SERIKAT DAN WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION 2020 - 2021
Abstract
The good relationship between the WHO and the US ended with the US leaving the WHO. This relationship ended in the Era of President Trump. In the Trump Era, the relationship worsened due to the Covid pandemic. Initially a group of pneumonia cases were identified as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). The emergence of this virus worsened the relationship that had been well established. . Trump felt that the WHO was too favorable to China, even though the US made the largest contribution to the WHO. Trump began to think about the benefits of US membership in WHO, which he found unfavorable. Trump, who has a view of putting America's interests first, began to rethink the benefits of WHO membership.
