PERAN DAN STRATEGI PERTAHANAN INDONESIA DALAM MENJAGA REGIONAL RESILIENCE DI TENGAH KOMPLEKSITAS KAWASAN ASIA TENGGARA TAHUN 2019 - 2023

Abstract

Southeast Asia is one of the regions in the world that has great geostrategic potential, which is proven by its very strategic geographical location, the availability of abundant natural resources, and encouragement from demographic factors. However, in the end Southeast Asia became a region that was attracted by many world powers, causing this region to experience considerable security complexity. In the end, Southeast Asian countries need an action or strategy to maintain the security, prosperity and stability of their region. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach as its research method, apart from that, this research uses library study techniques to collect relevant data. The results of this research show that Indonesia has a big role as a natural leader in ASEAN for Southeast Asian countries, where Indonesia has a lot of involvement in various problems such as overcoming border disputes, drug issues, humanitarian issues, and other problems within ASEAN internally and in relation to other countries to maintain regional resilience in Southeast Asia.
