Focus and Scope
Academia Praja is a publication media formed by the Team of the Masters in Government Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, General Achmad Yani University, in order to accommodate various research results, scientific thoughts, and other scientific discourses that contribute positive for the development of science in the social, political and governmental sciences in Indonesia. The various writings presented in this scientific journal are the presentations of writings from Social, Political and Government Scientific scientists which are summarized in the Academia Praja journal as a useful academic product, both for lecturers, students, extra intellectual and intra-campus intellectuals, as well as for the writer as a contribution and scientific development. Thus it is expected that various dynamics and ideas that continue to develop rapidly in the sphere of government science can continuously renew the understanding of the readers, especially academics and students.

Peer Review Process / Policy
In order to ensure research integrity and high standard of publication, Academia Praja uses reviewers from various institutions by independent and experts. All manuscript submissions, except book reviews, will be refereed by at least two experts on the subject.

Open Access Policy
Academia Praja provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, and supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Feel Free to access and distribute.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Academia Praja adheres to the ethical guidelines for journal publications put forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed Academia Praja journal is an essential in the developing of a respected network of knowledge. It is a reflection of the quality of the journal and the institutions. Peer-reviewed articles manages the scientific method. So, it is important to agree upon standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the journal publishing process: the author, the journal editor, the reviewers, the publisher and the society.
The editor board of the Academia Praja journal is responsible in deciding which are articles should be published. The reserachers and readers must respect the decision of the editorial board. The editors should be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board.
Editors are evaluating articles content without regard to gender, race, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship sexual orientation, or political philosophy of the authors.
The editor and editorial staffs must confidentialy any information about a submitted articles to anyone other.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Unpublished articles must not be used in an editor's own research without the permissions of the authors.
Duties of Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Reviewers assists the editor in making decisions, and also communicate through the editorial communications with the authors in improving the articles.
Articles received for reviewing must be treated as confidential documents.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be objective.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Information or ideas of articles must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage.
Duties of Authors
The report of original research of an author should present an accurate account of the work performed and objective discussion. Data should be accurate in the article. An article should be contained detail and references.
Data Access and Retention
Authors provide the raw data for editorial review of articles and should be prepared to provide data so public can access.
Originality and Plagiarism
The authors should ensure original articles.
Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication
An author should not in representing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same article to more than one journal constitutes is unacceptable.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the articles/research of others must always be given. Authors should cite influential publications.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship will be given to those who have made contribution to the conception, execution, interpretation or design of the article/research. Co-authors are all those who have made contributions. Contributors are others who have participated in some substantive aspects of the research.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
If the research involves chemicals or equipment that have any unusual hazards, the authors must clearly mention in the articles.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors should disclose any financial or other substantive conflict of interest in their articles. All sources of financial support for the research should be disclosed.
Fundamental errors in published works
When authors discover fundamental error in their own published article, the authors should notify the editorial board and cooperate with the editors to correct the paper.

License journal content with creative common (CC). Copyright is fully owned by the author without limitations.

Online Journal publishing fee: IDR 0, - (no fees)
Under these conditions, Journal Academia Praja also provides assistance to authors from developing countries because it does not require any costs for the process of publishing online journals.
